Prospect Counselling and Social Work Services (PCSWS) offer a range of specialist counselling services as well as social work services based on your identified needs and/or goals.

Specialist Counselling Services

We are experienced in providing evidence-based psychological intervention for a range of mental illnesses and disorders for individuals who are 18 years old and above. We also offer bereavement counselling as well as perinatal counselling for pregnant women up until 12 months post-delivery.

Trauma

Dealing with traumatic events can be very distressing and overwhelming. While some people would not require professional help, depending on the severity of the trauma, some would require some professional help. PCSWS is skilled in providing evidence-based trauma therapy.
Depression 

Depression is a mental health disorder that is characterised by persistent depressed mood and/or loss of interest in the activities, feeling of intense sadness and worthlessness. PCSWS can provide psychological intervention that can assist you in breaking the circle of depression.

Victims of Crime Counselling 

If you are a victim of crime and/or interpersonal violence you may be eligible for psychological treatment through the NSW Victims Services. You would need to independently apply for this through the NSW Victims Service.

NDIS 

Assessment, Individual counselling and therapy to facilitate self- knowledge, growth and to work towards participants personal goals. Please speak with your plan manager to ensure that your NDIS Plan includes this service. 

Self-Funded/ Private Fees 

You may attend PCSWS without a referral which means that you would bear the total cost of the service delivery.
